Why Not?

One of my favorite ways to think is to ask myself "why not?" instead of "why?", which doesn't mean you should do anything. What's the meaning, though? I wrote a little poem about it.
Being on the road of life:
Being on the road of life and overthinking some stuff. What did my neighbor think when I did that? Fuck, what will happen if I do this? What will society think about me? Did I act right? What do I have to reach in life?
Why do we think so much about this kind of stuff? Why do we have to ask ourselves these questions? Why do we stress ourselves so much? We don’t we just let go? Why don’t we focus on being happy and just live how we want? Why don’t we just be? Why not?
Why not doing something different than society wants us to do? Why not taking another road? Why not trying to make our real dreams come true? Why not let go a bit more in the one life we have? Why not feeling more intensive by thinking less in these special moments?
Maybe sometimes it's better thinking WhyNot? and letting go from unnecessary stuff society wants us to do and think. Why should I go the longer way? Why should I buy the other milk - the one I always bought is good isn‘t it? Why should I talk to this person?
Why not? Why not going the longer way if I want to? Why not buying the other milk and bring a little new taste in life? Why not talk to this person? What will I lose?
"Why not?" doesn’t mean you should do everything. It just means you shouldn’t do anything. There are many reasons to not jump from a cliff, but often there are no reasons to not try new and different things.
Why don't you try:

Why don't you try to ask yourself the whole next week "Why not?" instead of "Why?" and find out how you feel after that week?
