You could always leave

What do we really need in life? A thought that can give security and ease in life. Sometimes we are in situations in which we do not feel one hundred percent comfortable. Be it in conversations with a person with whom we are not one hundred percent on the same wavelength, or in activities that are a bit out-of-the-box and feel unfamiliar. On the way to Berlin for the weekend, I picked up a thought about this which I would like to share with you: "You don't have to be here, you could always leave. Just like that."
You could always leave:

In Berlin itself, I was in a few situations where I didn't feel 100% comfortable. This thought came back into my head: "Whatever I do, I can always leave. Nothing keeps me here. I am free. If it gets weird, I can just get up and I have a thousand options to go to just like that. I could go home. I could visit friends. I could do something else cool while I'm out anyway. There are countless options for what else I could do besides being here. And most importantly, no matter what I do, somehow I still have everything that really matters." This thought has given me security and strength. I stayed in Berlin and let myself fall in the situations and even felt really comfortable - and the weekend was awesome! - seriously. What do we have to?: Now I ask myself: What do we actually have to do? The thought of not having to stay in such situations has given me strength and security in these very situations. Can the thought be extended even further? Do we actually always have to achieve all the goals that we set ourselves? Do we have to expose ourselves to the pressure that is sometimes subconsciously involved? The highest goal in life is to be happy, isn't it? Do we often have to stress ourselves so much mentally? I think not. We want to, but we don't have to. We can actually do whatever we want - as long as we follow basic laws, eat, drink and love. We don't have to force ourselves into any situations that might be a bit unpleasant or out-of-the-box. We also don't have to follow any ideals that have been imprinted on us and which put a lot of pressure on us. I don't see the point as an excuse to do nothing, I see it as a thought process to relax, listen to our heart and act the way we really want to.

Do we want that? Do we want to let ourselves fall in such situations and gain new experiences? Do we want to broaden our horizons? Do we want to be faster than the one or ones in front of us? Then up! From the heart with energy! But not because we have to, rather because we want to. You could always leave - if you want ;) Why don't you try:

Try to realize in one of the next situations, where you don't feel so well, that you don't really have to be here. Or try to realize that you don't really need to accomplish one of your goals that somehow permanently stresses you. Concentrate on the goals that are good for you. You could leave any moment - let yourself go. You have nothing to lose. And if you want to, keep going. But not because you have to, rather because you want to.
